I'm enjoying this series so much. I didn't think I would enjoy this genre but Kristi & Nicole have done such an intriguing amazing job!! I think Mortuus needs a 6th Female!!! Send me up 😏
Book 2 begins with the story of Calix. He's the top medic on the planet and the 1st person to see Emery. The first contact was mesmerizing and shocking for Calix. He made it his mission to befriend her learn everything about her.
Emery has woken in a strange unexpected place with no one she recognizes, she's afraid and her health is declining being on this planet. She's afraid she will be taking her last breathe soon.
Calix has taken on the challenge to cure emery and disobey all rules. He sees in Emery what Breccan sees in Aria. He has made it his mission to care for Emery and hopefully she in-turn will feel the same for him.
Emery only feels safe with Calix. She has Trust and Hope he will find a cure but when Calix finds the truth about Emery, will he still feel the same? OR will he treat her differently and have her become a prisoner...
